What Sets My Work Apart?
Over the years I have collected a wide range of tools for my writing toolbox. In fact, I have collected a range of toolboxes.
Here are some of the skillsets that allow me to offer you a unique amount of bang for your buck:
Wide-Ranging Experience
My winding career path has granted me a wide range of experience. And with it, the ability to write quickly, accurately, and authoritatively.

Flexible Tone, Voice, and Personality
You need to know that my writing style, word choice, and tone of voice can effectively convey your brand to your audience.
To that end, I have gathered a few writing samples for your consideration. The goal here is not to demonstrate the depth of my knowledge in any given area (for that please see my “Specialized Niches” above) but to demonstrate the different styles that I commonly use.
And keep in mind, these are just rough sketches for demonstration purposes. I can adjust to whatever voice or style you need.
Psychologically-Driven Structure
I use specific variants of paragraph structure to engage and draw the reader down the page. This includes but is not limited to transitions, call-and-response coupling, pledge-turn-prestige introductions, scene-and-sequel body paragraphs, TAC conclusions.
These techniques are proven to increase the time your reader stays on the page and increase the likelihood that they will engage with the content by clicking links or sharing to social.
Years of SEO Experience
I have been on both sides of the SEO fence. I have been both content manager and content creator.
What does it mean for you?
When you send me an assignment with keywords and/or an outline, I understand the bigger picture that surrounds those terms. I know how they must work with your voice and your brand to build trust and authority. I understand, better than most, how the rote regurgitation of the target keyword damages your brand.
And that means that the article I submit to you will be natural and fluid, full of variety but never losing focus. You’ll never have to worry about getting a robotic piece of text that repeats the same keyword over and over again in an attempt to please Googlebots from five years ago. Instead, you’ll get genuine writing that resonates with your audience and keeps them engaged and informed.
As Content Manager, I…
- Research and identify keywords
- Perform competitor analysis to close keyword gaps
- Use a wide range of SEO tools (experience includes SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, Moz, Google Search Console, etc.)
As Content Creator, I…
- Create user-centric writing that uses SEO keywords to fulfill user intent
- Use SEO best practices in all page titles, subheadings, and body text
- Include keyword variants in natural, easy-to-read language
- Create engaging content that increases time-on-page and reduces bounce rate
See it in Action…
I am currently head writer for ThreeMonthMillionaire.com, a home-business/productivity/personal finance blog. The following are links to articles that I have personally written (linked here with the owner’s permission).
For reference, the voices used on this site are the “Knowledgeable Best Friend” and “Pragmatic Mentor” linked above.
Our demographic is adults aged 25-45 who are looking to expand their side hustles or hobbies into home-based businesses.
Narrative and Proofreading Mastery
As a former teacher of creative writing, creative nonfiction, and journalism, I have developed two skills of interest to you; one that will make your life easier and one that will separate your content from the pack.
How will I make your life easier?
As a writing teacher, coach, and tutor, I have worked with all grade levels from seventh grade through college students. Needless to say, I have had ample opportunities to hone my proofreading skills.
In addition to grammatically sound and error-free writing, I have also developed a special ear for the internal vocal tonality of writing (that is, the tempo and flow of the words in your head). So not only will I proofread my own work thoroughly, but I will also edit it for the best possible reading experience. Your readers will stay engaged longer and feel less fatigue as they read.
How can I make your content stand out?
Frankly, I believe narrative-based instruction will be the “next big thing” in the SEO world. Google has indicated repeatedly that it is moving away from algorithms prone to keyword stuffing and backlink farming to focus on natural, human narrative writing. Faced with the rise of AI-written content, Google is looking for humanity signals when it assigns trust and expertise to a site.
And nothing conveys humanity like narrative.
So what does it mean for you?
I apply established narrative construction to my writing whenever possible. I primarily use Joseph Campbel’s concept of the Hero’s Journey to turn even simple step-by-step instructions (something easily churned out by AI) into a rich and living example that Google will quickly identify as having a human origin. And even more importantly, using established narrative conventions allows your readers to form an emotional bond with your content. They identify with it.
